Human health, well-being, and relationships are vital to the interests of communities. Cornell Cooperative Extension nutrition, health and resource management programs help people solve problems, achieve their potential, and strengthen their communities.
Programs aim to reduce the prevalence of childhood obesity and chronic disease through improved nutrition and health practices and promote changes in the community and beyond. Programs foster developmentally appropriate parenting and child care and elder care, address environmental hazards, and support education in financial literacy, health care issues, and energy conservation.
