Growing healthy food and beautiful flowers in your own backyard can be a life-long learning process with abundant rewards for gardeners of all ages.  Cornell Cooperative Extension, through the Department of Horticulture, provides many resources on growing fruits, vegetables, and flowers as well as information on trees, shrubs, lawn care and houseplants which are highlighted on the Gardening Resources  website.

This site is also a portal to information on the Master Gardener program, Garden-based learning activities for youth and community gardening
