Summer Internship Program

Since 2007, the CCE Summer Internship Program has helped Cornell fulfill its land grant mission by engaging students in outreach. Through the internship program, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences faculty and staff, extension educators, and local Cornell Cooperative Extension offices involve students in the college’s work to find solutions to New York’s most pressing concerns.

Volunteer

Cornell Cooperative Extension engages thousands of volunteers in many capacities; providing hands-on assistance in our education programs, cooperating in applied research projects, and serving in policy and advisory capacities at local and state-wide levels. Their efforts complement the work of our staff, improve the quality of our programs, and increase enthusiasm for CCE all over New York State.

Volunteers are rewarded with hours of training in areas of their interest, a chance to make a difference, and the knowledge that they are a valuable and valued part of the Cornell Cooperative Extension system.

Last year volunteers contributed over 1 million hours, playing a significant role in the accomplishment of our mission.
